Brad Lueneburg joined Family Rexall Drug as a pharmacist in 1982 after graduating from the University of Minnesota College of Pharmacy. His history with the business, however, goes back to grade school as he worked at the store for his father as a janitor, clerk, inventory taker, delivery person, or anything else that needed doing.
“Having the opportunity to grow up in the business observing and helping Dad, I was able to appreciate the special relationship a pharmacist has with his patients and the ways you can truly help them. I was never pushed to go into the family business; this appreciation grew into something that I knew I had to be a part of.”
Brad lives in Hutchinson with his wife Jeri. His daughters Megan and Liz have graduated from college and are pursuing careers around the globe!
In his spare time Brad enjoys spending time with family and friends in the Minnesota and Colorado outdoors boating, hiking, skiing, fishing, and hunting.
Lisa Ellefson began working for Family Rexall Drug in 1996. She is currently lobbying Brad for a new convertible to celebrate her 20th anniversary of employment in 2016.
She developed an interest in medicine in high school, and found a career in pharmacy was exactly what she was looking for. “I enjoy helping our patients understand their medications to get the most out of their therapy. It’s a good feeling when people trust you enough to ask questions and listen to your advice.”
Away from work, Lisa’s family keeps her running! Her husband Tim is a teacher and coach at Hutchinson High School, and two daughters, Erica & Annika are active in sports and activities in school. She also enjoys cheering for all Minnesota sports teams, and reading. Go Tigers!
Krista Berkner joined the Family Rexall Drug team in 2010. She graduated from the University of Minnesota in 2008 and moved to the rural area south of Hutchinson.
Krista is a first generation pharmacist and enjoyed all sciences growing up. She became a pharmacy technician right out of high school and was mentored by the pharmacists she worked with. “Being here to talk to people about their medications and knowing that I’m helping them with their health is very rewarding.”
Outside of work, Krista spends her free time with her family and pets.
