Services

  • TWO LOCATIONS: Family Rexall Drug, in downtown Hutchinson one block east of the Post Office with parking right up to the door, and Family Pharmacy South, at Hutchinson Medical Center. The stores are computer linked; stop at the one that is the most convenient for you.
  • FREE DELIVERY: We will deliver your order within Hutchinson city limits. If the order contains non-prescription items only, there is $10 minimum. There is no limit if your order contains at least one prescription. Your order must be placed by 3PM for same day delivery. If we must contact your doctor for refill authorization, you may not get your order the same day. Deliveries go out Monday through Friday 2PM to 6PM. If you are not home when we attempt to deliver, you may pick up your order at the pharmacy on the following day.
  • FREE MAILING: We will mail your prescriptions to your out of town address. Because of the possible need to get refill authorization from your doctor and the variability of USPS, please allow at least 5 days for delivery. Liquids and topical creams or ointments may not be able to be mailed due to temperature restrictions.
  • FREE BLOOD GLUCOSE & BLOOD PRESSURE READINGS: Your blood glucose and blood pressure readings can be taken by our on-staff nurse. She is at Family Rexall Drug, downtown only, Mondays thru Thursday.
  • MEDICARE-D PLAN HELP: We will help you determine which Medicare-D drug plan is best for you based on your current prescription usage. Stop at either location and talk to one of our pharmacists regarding this service.
  • HOME HEALTHCARE/DIABETIC DEPARTMENT: We stock an extensive line of home healthcare supplies and equipment for sale and/or lease. We also carry a large inventory of diabetic testing supplies and other related items. Our staff is available for setup, training, and Medicare/insurance billing.   • EMERGENCY AFTER HOURS SERVICE: If you need EMERGENCY after-hours or holiday service, please dial 320-587-9682 for further instructions.
  • DRUG AND HEALTH INFORMATION: Click on the side buttons “MEDLINE PLUS DRUG AND HEALH INFORMATION” on this webpage to be directed to a National Institutes of Health web page that allows you to access a wealth of information.  Of course you can also call us at either location and ask to talk to our pharmacists to help answer your questions.
  • CONVENIENT PRESCRIPTION REFILL ORDERING: You can order your prescriptions in the way that is the most convenient for you. Web refills for both stores are available day or night by clicking on the “PRESCRIPTION REFILLS” button on the sidebar of these web pages. For Family Pharmacy South pickup, patients can call and leave orders with staff during hours or on a voice mail after hours. For Family Rexall Drug pickup, patients can leave their orders on our Interactive Voice Response system day or night by just following the prompts. Please have your prescription numbers handy.
